Starshine's business cards

Date: October 10, 2006
Posted by JG

Last week, my wife left her job as a reporter at our local newspaper after 11 years...long story. Starting out on her own as a freelance writer immediately meant two things to me -- find us some health care coverage, and create a website and business card.

She requested the pink and chocolate color scheme, and I took a look at the website for Benefit Cosmetics (a favorite of hers for the clever names and retro-50s style packaging) followed by a Google images search for "polka dots".

At the end, she couldn't decide which card she liked better, but with OvernightPrints.com offering 100 double-sided cards for $15 plus shipping, we could afford to print both! At least for now... talk to me in a few months and I may be wishing we'd bought 100 packs of Ramen instead.
